Hip Carry
This page will explain an easy way to use a Simply Mei Tai on your hip.

For the hip carry you need to tie your Mei Tai around your waist again but this time tie on the side of your waist. You need to carry your baby as if you are carrying on your hip, I'm sure you all know how to do this. Now bring the Mei Tai up again over your baby's back ensuring that you're supporting his/her back at all times.

You need to bring the front strap over your opposite shoulder from where baby is sitting, now leave this where it is and take the other strap from behind and pull over your shoulder to the front (being careful not to get tangled)! Now back to the strap behind you, hold this and tighten up with a jiggle to under baby's bottom and do the same with the front strap. Tie with a secure knot under the bottom.
I find this one quite hard to explain in words but its not as complicated as it sounds, honest!
